The social plugin for WordPress is no longer available. WordPress and the popular SEO plugins now handle Open Graph tags natively.

Setting up your favicon in WordPress

WordPress has a built-in Site Icon (Appearance → Customize → Site Identity, or Settings → General in block themes). It generates a few sizes from a single square image of at least 512x512 pixels.

For full control, generate a complete package with the favicon generator, upload the files to the root of your site (next to wp-config.php) and paste the HTML code in your theme's header.php before <?php wp_head(); ?>, or in a "head" injection plugin. Remove the Site Icon so that WordPress does not output duplicate tags.
